This is an attractive and very friendly venue, just on the edge of Ramsbottom and is easily reached from the M66 Motorway. The Cricket Club has a cheap bar and wooden dance floor with seating in a very pleasant conservatory, backing onto the Cricket pitch.

There is ample car parking is available in the grounds adjacent to the club.

The event runs from 8 pm till 1 am, with an across the board music policy. Admission is £3 OTD.

The promoters have an imaginative policy in terms of guest DJs, not being afraid to try something different musically, past guests including Ian Gee and R&B specialist Grutch.

The Cricket Club has a website which has links to a map of the town. The club is located behind Holcombe Mill (owned by MONDI UK the club's main sponsor).

Directions

From the traffic lights in the centre of town, head down Bridge St and turn right after the level crossing but before the paper mill.

From the M66 turn right as you leave the motorway at junction 1 signposted Ramsbottom. At the next set of traffic lights turn left down the hill to Ramsbottom, turning left after the paper mill but immediately before the level crossing.

Keeping the railway line on your right hand side, Acre Bottom is at the very end of the lane (ignore the "No Entry" sign). Follow the lane as it bends to the left, you will see a building immediately in front of you, turn left into the car park.
